Someone wrote that if you can make a knife, you can make anything.
I’m not sure about that. Knifemaking came pretty easily to me and there are a lot of things I can’t make.
However, in the 50 some odd years that I have been making, more than 1,500 people have bought them from all over the world; quite a few repeats. I guess I must be doing something right.
I have always been under financed. That has proven to be an advantage. If you can’t afford to buy a certain machine or have someone do for you, you have to be creative. That’s what makes the juices flow and your product line fresh and innovative. There are no exact copies in my models. Each one has a character of its own. Some love me – some hate me. I can tell from the beginning which it is. One will virtually “flow” from one process to the next. Another will fight me all the way. They all do suit me in the end. I am my harshest critic.
